
³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ hosts educational workshop on November 18
When considering the needs of students who are English learners, how do parents, educators and members of the community work together to meet the students' needs? Practical suggestions and resources will be discussed at ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ's (³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ) educational workshop entitled, "Child-Family-Community: The Power Trio for English Learner with Disabilities," on Saturday, November 18. The event will begin in the Warde Academic Center's Fourth Floor Boardroom at 8:30 a.m. with a gathering/networking, followed by a 9 a.m. to noon workshop program hosted by ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ's Education Department Professor Meg Carroll, Ed.D. This event is free to all ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ staff, faculty and students; free to parents of students with disabilities; and $50 to others.
