³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ's (³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ) School of Education (SOE) Professor Eileen Quinn Knight, Ph.D., and Dimitra Georganas, alumna, recently presented at the Metropolitan Mathematics Club of Chicago Conference on Saturday, January 28 at Evanston Township High School. This conference functions in a workshop format and is presented by teachers for teachers with sessions for all grade levels. Their presentation entitled, "Understanding Financial Literacy" focused on how to assist students in understanding how numbers behave. Specifically, looking to understand the meaning of saving, spending, or sharing money in a way that helps society grow. During their presentation they gave participants scenarios that helped assist them in making good decisions about their money.
