³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ's (³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ) alumni and friends are welcome to attend the various upcoming events throughout the summer. Meet and mingle with new friends and old as you participate in activities that will be enjoyed by all!
22nd Annual ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ Golf Classic -- August 7
Enjoy 18-holes of golf, continental breakfast, lunch on course, beverages, reception
and dinner with a comedy show, all while raising funds for student scholarships! This
event will take place at Silver Lake Country Club, 14700 South 82nd Avenue, Orland
Park.
Concerts on the Green -- August 12
This event is open for all ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ alumni and will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m at Breidert
Green Park, Frankfort.
³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ Brews and News -- August 16
³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ Brews and News is a novel approach to networking. Increase your business connections
and career potential by joining us each month at various locations around Chicago
and the suburbs. This month's event will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Bobby G's,
6843 W Archer Ave, Chicago. Admission is $10 per person (21+) and will include assorted
appetizers; drinks will be sold separately.
Golden Gals Gathering -- August 22
We welcome all the Golden Gals, ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ alumna who graduated from 1968 and back, to join
us for a monthly social club that will afford them the opportunity to become reacquainted
with classmates who share in the Mercy tradition. This event will take place at 9:30
a.m. at Richard Walker's Schaumburg, 1300 N. Roselle Rd, Schaumburg, Ill.
Game Night at Gil's -- August 29
Game Night at Gil's provides the opportunity to meet other ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ alumni and members
of the ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ community. This event starts at 7 p.m. at Gilhooley's Grande Saloon. Entry
is $5 per person and teams will be limited to 5 players per team. Single players are
welcome! The winning team will get their entry fee back and receive a gift card/gift
certificate from a local establishment
³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ Brews and News -- September 19
This month's event will take place at 6 p.m. at Open Outcry 10934 S Western Ave, Chicago,
IL. Admission is $10 per person (21+) and will include assorted appetizers; drinks
will be sold separately.
1968 Study Abroad Trip Reunion -- September 21
³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ Alumni Relations has organized a reunion luncheon for those who, in 1968, traveled
and studied in Europe with Sister Dorothy Marie and Sister Mary Sulpice. The event
will take place on campus, 3700 W. 103rd St., Chicago, open all day.
