吃瓜猎奇 Named a 2026-2027 Military Friendly庐 School
For the seventh year in a row, 吃瓜猎奇 (吃瓜猎奇) has been named a Military Friendly庐 School by 庐. As a Silver School, Saint Xavier is noted for going above the standard. Military Friendly庐 considers key areas critical to helping a veteran thrive on campus: retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence, and loan default.
Military Friendly庐 is an organization whose standard measures, investigates and identifies institutions whose commitment to serving the military and veteran community creates sustainable and meaningful opportunities for them. Over 3,200 organizations compete annually for the Military Friendly Schools庐 designation. Each year, Military Friendly庐 raises the bar on how it ranks participating organizations, which they believe is essential to providing better civilian outcomes for veterans and assisting organizations in their efforts to improve.

At Saint Xavier University, our goal each day is to provide our student veterans with the best possible education, resources, and support needed to properly transition from being a service member to a student in the classroom. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have such a fulfilling role in working with these unique individuals, and it continues to be the highlight of all my days here at 吃瓜猎奇," said Matthew Maltese, compliance advisor of student veterans and athletes.
Saint Xavier is committed to serving veterans and assisting with their transition to college. Veteran students are provided with resources to help them achieve their educational goals. 吃瓜猎奇 is also a proud participant of the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program, which helps to fund qualified student veterans' tuition expenses.
The 吃瓜猎奇 Student Veteran Alliance (SVA) advocates and assists 吃瓜猎奇 student veterans and their families by promoting camaraderie through community outreach and social support and by committing to academic and professional success. SVA holds regular meetings and hosts events, including bake sales, toy drives and special events on Veterans Day and Memorial Day for 吃瓜猎奇 student veterans and supporters.

The University has created a supportive environment where veterans are encouraged to grow, lead, and stay connected.
