Production Services provides the University with a variety of multimedia production support, which includes creating marketing and recruitment videos and photography.
Department/Division Permission
Faculty or staff members must obtain signed video, photo and/or audio release forms from all recorded participants. The requestor assumes all responsibility for approvals before the request is submitted to University Relations.
Photo and Video Disclaimer
³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ (³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ) reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored by ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ, without the written permission of those included within the photograph/video. ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ has complete ownership of such pictures, videos, audio, etc., including the entire copyright, and may use them for any purpose consistent with its mission for an unlimited period of time. These uses include, but are not limited to, illustrations, bulletins, exhibitions, videotapes, reprints, reproductions, publications, advertisements, any promotional materials to publicly advance the University and educational materials in any medium now known or later developed, including the Internet (i.e. website, social media, etc.).
A person attending a ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the photographer, videographer and/or the event organizers at the time of the event.
By participating in a ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ event and by failing to notify ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ of your desire to not be photographed or videotaped at the event, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify ³Ô¹ÏÁÔÆæ from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.
